Taikoo Spirit AeroSystems (Jinjiang) Composite Co. Ltd. (short name as Taikoo Spirit),is located in Quan Zhou Export Processing Zone, Jin Jiang City, Fujian Province , P. R. China.
Established at the end of 2007, Taikoo Spirit is a Joint Venture between Hong Kong Aircraft Engineering Co. Ltd (41.8%), Spirit AeroSystems(31.535%),Inc., Taikoo (Xiamen) Aircraft Engineering Co. Ltd (10.759%), Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd.(5.453%), China Airlines(5.453%) Ltd., and Quanzhou Export Processing Zone Investment Management Co.,Ltd. (5%).
Being one of the first companies to provide repair, manufacture and after-sale services to support both narrow & wide body aircraft on Boeing and Airbus composite components in P.R. China, Taikoo Spirit has invested over US$27.2 million for its infrastructure, equipment, tool, inventory and staff training so far.
Taikoo Spirit plans to commence operation in October, 2009.
